Mysterious reports of a giant laser striking down buildings were reported as millions of people were terrified of this new threat(And if you're seeing this,put "Chaos" in your character sheet). A chaos emerald has also been reported to have been stolen from a national museum by an unknown theif.

All citizens are advised to stay in their homes after sundown as global enforcement agencies try to locate the source of these mysterious laser attacks.

There were more reports of robots rampaging around the streets,looking for some kind of jewel.

Brego and Synthia were both in a fast food restaurant, Brego ordering the meals and Synthia sat down on the table listening in to her radio. She began to wonder about this "Jewel" that was being searched for.

Sonic and Tails were on a plane,Tails as the pilot. They flew over the city to find where the trouble was brewing.Soon,they found out the location of the robots and headed there to stop them dead in their tracks.

Eggman was there too,monitoring.He was commanding his robots to "Work faster".

The news reported that citizens are to remain calm and stay indoors until the matter is fully resolved.

"I'm not gonna stay in this shithole." Synthia mumbled to the radio as Brego arrived with a tray of food, setting it down on the table and taking a seat.
"And why not?" He asked, hearing her quite easily.
"Surely you don't want to risk getting shot and sliced to bits." He tried changing her mind, but it didn't work. It almost never worked with her.
"Well if I had all your disappeary... shadowy skills I wouldn't give a toss about going out to face those bastards, but I don't." She growled, taking her food and nibbling it.

A missile suddenly got into view,heading towards the building.The plane mentioned earlier was chasing it,shooting it down.

"Gotta run." Brego said to Synthia, quickly, quickly grabbing her and looking round for a dark and shady place - probably his only way out if he wanted to get himself way out of harms way.
"What are we--? HOLY CRAP." She blurted out, seeing the missile.

The plane started to get closer to the missile,firing away to destroy it.The missile was rather small.

The crowd thought the plane was firing at them and fled in panic.

Brego noticed a large table that had been toppled over, the original occupants fleeing. He took the opportunity to escape by running towards it.
"The hell are you doing?! The exit's over THERE!" She shouted at him, trying to run the other way, but she was failing.

The missile crashed into the building's high floor.The plane had failed to destroy it and pulled away to prevent crashing into the building.

There were a few loud beeps from above.

The radio report continued.

"There seems to be a very large energy reading heading down towards the city! we have no ideas whatsoever it is going to hit." A man said,in the report.

Brego dived under the table, just managing to pull Synthia under too before dissapearing in the shadow, a wisp of black clouds trailed out from under the table.

A loud explosion just occured nearby,it was a huge laser leveling buildings...one by one.

The building Brego and Synthia was on was about to be next as the laser moved towards them,wrecking a hot dog stand and a highway.

By now, Brego and Synthia were already gone. Although Synthia had no idea what was going on.
"Where are we-- ... Why can't I even see myself?" She asked pretty much whatever was in the darkness, hoping Brego was there.
"Shhhh." Brego hushed her.
"Just keep your mind calm... don't let any disturbances get to you." He warned her, but this only made her more confused.
"Two days knowing you and your mysteriousness has already made my IQ half of what it was..." She mumbled.

In a split second,millions of innocent people were killed as the laser engulfed the building,shattering windows and melting it down with intense heat.A contiuous shockwave pushed the concrete down and caused the building to be unstable.

It collapsed in seconds.

A large robot had dropped behind Brego and Synthia.It paused for a short while and soon aimed its weapons at them which was a big bulky grapple hook.
