Paper Mario: The 8 Diamond Orbs

"Hey, look, an elevator!" Xavier stepped in and waited for Ruby.

Ruby also stepped into the elevator.

Xavier pressed the first floor button and waited. The elevator music was playin g the Super Mario Bros. theme. "Hm, it even has elevator music."

(I think the SMB Underwater theme fits perfectly.)

Ruby waited for the elevator to reach the bottom.

Xavier stepped out of the elevator one it stopped, and saw a block wall blocking the entrance. He just broke it in one swing.

Ruby went through the hole.

Xavier walked through. "You still have Toadsworth, right?"

Ruby shook her head. "He wasn't affected by the 'curse', so he couldn't come."

"Well, let's go find him...." Xavier sighed and looked around the streets.

Ruby looked around the streets for something different, the sewer entrance, but didn't tell Xavier.

Xavier wandered off to find Toadsworth in the mean time.

Ruby kept looking for the sewers.

Xavier found Toadsworth in an alley, and picked him up. Xavier then turned around and realized that Ruby wasn't there for once. "........"

Ruby turned around, and was somewhat joyed Xavier wasn't there, and kept looking for the sewer entrance.

[How mean. XD]

Xavier looked around. "Eh.....kinda nice not to ALWAYS have a partner."

Ruby kept looking for the sewer entrance around her, unaware she was standing on it, which was covered by a manhole.

Xavier headed to the shop again and bought a few POW blocks.

Ruby looked down and realized she was on the manhole. No wonder the ground felt weird. She lifted off the manhole and went in.

Xavier looked around his inventory and found everything fine....except for his key... "I see where she went....but, she can handle it."

Ruby crawled lower into the sewers, and examine her inventory. Everything was fine, minus the bat. It had broke. "What."

Xavier had no idea what to do next, so he listened to a radio in the shop.

(What does the radio say? Also, Ruby never put the manhole back on.)

Ruby reached the bottom and looked around.

[Radio broadcasts about the Orb. And what about the manhole? ._.]

Xavier was learning that the town threw the orb underneath the city.

(The manhole covering the sewer entrance hasn't been put back on the hole, meaning people could crash or something.)

Ruby moved out of the light to get a better view.

A few kid koopas fell through the hole in the ground, landing on top of eachother.
