Paper Mario: The 8 Diamond Orbs

"Go back to town I guess....." Xavier looked around Whispy and found a giant treasure chest. "TREASURETREASURETREASURE."

Ruby kicked the orb at Xavier and opened the chest. "You take the orb."

"Fine. -_- " Xavier carried the orb until the background turned completely purple. "Look what you did now, Ruby."

"Well, at least we get a new ability." Ruby said, refering to Paper Mario 2, but not breaking 'the thing'.

"What do you mean, ability!? I'm gonna curse you! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The shadow face came from the box and 'cursed' Ruby and Xavier with a paper helicopter power. "Now, you two gotta work together to use this curse on Heli pads."

"We can turn in and out at will, so why bother calling it a 'curse'?" Ruby questioned the being.

"You-...........it's a curse. Deal with it." The being disappeared and left behind a heli pad next to the chest.

Ruby looked at Xavier. "Couldn't we go the way we came?"

"Maybe if there wasn't a bunch of trees blocking the exit." He pointed to some tree blocking the way they came in.

Ruby facepalmed, and turned into a helicopter, followed by flying the gap.

Xavier turned into a heli and flew back to Toad Town.

Ruby landed on the roof of Peach's castle.

Xavier looked up at her while holding the orb. "WRONG WAY."

Ruby jumped down from the roof.

Xavier was in the castle and already put it next to the other orbs.

Ruby looked at Xavier. "Now we go to sleep for tomorrow?"

"Of course." Xavier was out of the castle by the end of his sentence.

Ruby fell asleep onto the floor.

The Next Day.......

Xavier woke up, got dressed, and headed to the Castle to see what Toadsworth had to say today.

Ruby was still sleeping on the floor.

Xavier was dragging Ruby by her foot.

Ruby was being dragged along.

Xavier let go of her once they got to Toadsworth. "Ah, Ruby and Xavier! I see you returned! Forgive me for not being present yesterday, but I found something interesting."

He was about to hand over a brochure, but Xavier took out a megaphone and plugged int into some stereos surrounding Ruby.

Ruby remained asleep, not noticing.

(No one made sound yet.)

[Exactly.]

Xavier played "The Most Annoying Sound in the World" at max volume, nearly shattering all the windows.
