Paper Mario: The 8 Diamond Orbs

"Once again, if I had a drill." Ruby started thinking again.

"We went over this." Xavier looked around for something.

Ruby facepalmed. "I countered this."

Xavier eventually found a heli pad.

Ruby looked at Xavier. "How does this help?"

Xavier looked up. "We could fly to the top of the buildings."

Ruby thought about it. "That makes sense." She transformed and started flying up.

Xavier flew up behind her and there were a few thugs surrounding a few chests.

Ruby had dropped Toadsworth when she transformed, and had changed back and landed on a thug.

All of the Thugs took 6 damage before the battle started, and Xavier hammered one of the 4, dealing 8 damage.

Ruby smashes the same one with her bat, doing 8 damage.

The thug was knocked out. The other three rammed into them, but Xavier countered all of the attacks aimed at him.

Ruby countered the attacks at her as well, them smacked one with the bat, doing 11 Damage with the counter to the attacked one, 3 to the others.

Xavier attacked a thug and knocked it out.

The other two attacked again with the same attack but were countered again.

Ruby smacked another one with the bat, knocking it out.

The last thug was panicking, but was knocked out shortly by Xavier.

After the battle, the thugs surrounding the chest fled down the stairway leading downstairs.

Ruby proceeded to open the chest.

Chest Opened: Recieved 2 steel boots!

Xavier put on his new boots. "This'll hurt them."

Ruby put on boots as well. "It works."

"They're much heavier...and it looks like there isn't another heli pad." Xavier went to the stairs and started walking.

Ruby shrugged. "It w- Oh wait, just said that." She followed Xavier.

Xavieer looked around the empty floors. "It's a little quiet, don't you think?"

Ruby nodded. "Quiet it is."

Xavier kept walking down until they made it to the halfway point on the building.

Ruby started walking further.
