He looked at Messilita, holstering his weapons. He shook his head.

Synthia turned her head to the main door.

The key fitted into the lock,followed by a turn of the knob and the removal of the key itself. A sigh was heard from the other side.

Synthia awkwardly looked left and right, not sure about what to do. Brego heard the door, spinning round to look at the stairs to see if whoever it was was going to come up.

The main door opened,a hint of blue hair as Lucia started to go inside,She hasen't seen Synthia yet.

Synthia quickly rushed into the kitchen to hide, ducking behind whatever provided cover.

"Hey Red! I'm home!" Lucia announced as she closed the door behind her.
"Mom's got a few more things to do,so she is coming home later."

A few moments later,she noticed silence.
"Messilita?" Lucia started towards the sofa to see if her sister was asleep on the sofa.

The two stayed perfectly still. Brego knew his foot would probably make the landing creak if he moved.

"She's probably somewhere here...playing hide and seek again?" Lucia teased as she pulled out a little PDA.

"I'm prepared!" She started to press some buttons.

"... Prepared?" Synthia squeaked.

Lucia was holding a heat sensor device which she built herself in her little workshop.

"Huh?" She looked at the PDA carefully,there were 3 dots within the screen.
"This doesn't make any sense! I fixed it!!" She was really focused onto the screen trying to debug the 'errors'.

Both of them were quiet...

"Shucks.." Lucia pocketed the PDA and started towards the stairs.
"I swear,if you're sleeping on the bed again..I'm gonna tase you!"

"Shit." Brego mumbled to himself. Brego quickly sprinted into the room and under the bed.

Lucia heard a lot of footsteps.
"I heard you!!" She yelled as she sprinted up the stairs,almost tripping.

Messilita was still asleep,soundly as ever.

Synthia sighed in relief, but didn't want to move just yet.

Lucia's footsteps sounded louder and louder until she reached Messilita's room.
"huh..." She searched her pocket for a taser.

Brego watched from under the bed, holding his breath again.

Lucia turned on the taser and crept up on the innocent Messilita,tasing her.

Poor Messilita was unaware of the entire thing and was shocked awake.
"Gaaaaahahaha!" She yelped as electricity flowed throughout her body.

Lucia pulled out the taser to relieve her sister from the shock,who was obviously....shocked.

Brego raised an eyebrow, wondering why this other fox was being cruel.

"The heck?!" Messilita bolted up,super mad.

"Eh-ehehehe...sorry." Lucia was a litte confused,usually,Messilita would get the joke and laugh it off...but this case was different.

"Sorry?!? I was asleep!!" Messilita yelled in anger. "And you come up here and tase me?! What kind of sister are you?!"

"One of a kind?" Lucia tried to calm her sister down.

"Yeah,the kind that rushes up to my room without knocking and shocking the heck out of my skin." Messilita yelled once more.

Lucia felt a lot of shame,confused yet a need to apologise.
"Look,I'm sorry about that,okay? Maybe things are just...getting weird."

Elisa opened the door,coming in.

Synthia froze again, her eyes widening as she heard the door open again.

Elisa was the sharpest one among the family,her senses almost never fail. However,she was more into having a good family than being a dangerous weapon.She got over it years ago. She was now the mother of 2 and has motherly jobs...like taking the groceries to the kitchen.

And she was doing that now.

Synthia's ears drooped as she could hear Elisa drawing close. She held her breath.

Elisa entered the kitchen and placed the bags onto the counter. She turned around and took out her gloves to wash her hands.

Alex continued his trek along the edge of the marshlands.
