Paper Mario: The 8 Diamond Orbs

Xavier yawned and walked down the hall, looking at each orb, but they each had a green tint to them, kind of like a tree.

Ruby kept sleeping, unknowing of the orbs and what was happening.
(SCREAMING SCREAMING TIME. o3o)

(Why scream time for iscream time?)

Xavier knocked on the Orbs to make sure they weren't broken or if he weere dreaming it.

(Because thats really the only thing that wakes her up now-a-days. o3o)

Xavier thought that the next Orb might be in a forest, so he drowsily went to get a megaphone, then went to Ruby's room.

Ruby kept sleeping, not knowing of Xavier coming to her room.

Xavier treaded into her room, turned the Megaphone's power on, and covered his ears while yelling into the megaphone "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY."

Ruby flinched and got up, attempting to punch Xavier in the nose due to always being off guard.

Xavier was bent backward as he just dodged the punch. "It's me."

Ruby flinched again. "I've got to get use to that, don't I."

"Yeah, you do. Now get on some boots, we're going hiking." Xavier smiled, and he stood up straight.

"But I do- ..." Ruby decided not to finish that sentence. "So, Where are we hiking to?"

"Soem woods. I think an Orb is their." Xavier already had hiking boots on.

Ruby shrugged and started walking.

"Sure, go in your PJs." Xavier managed to snicker for a second.

Ruby flinched. "Eh, I'll go change." She ran into the bathroom and locked the door.

10 minutes later...

Xavier left and was outside the castle waiting for Ruby.

Ruby had snuck past Xavier without him noticing.
(Thats Ruby for ya! Sneaking past friends without them knowing. XD)

"I see you." Xavier said, and he began walking out of town and into the forest's depths.

Ruby sighed and kept walking.
(Cue title card?)

Ruby looked up a the Title Card. "Say, Have I seen that shape somewhere before? And My apologies, I've just gotten too curious."

"Yeah yeah yeah." Xavier said, and the Title Card vanishes, while the curtains open to a large area of trees.
