Another curious pilot was snooping around... a cat, to be specific.

Jan placed Prairie on his lap...he stroked her hair.
"Don't worry...soon you will be one of us..."

The truck drove towards the end of the city.

The cat went off to start up his plane, trying to see if he'll be able to follow him.

OmegaCorp's forces had arrived in the city, preparing plans for the counterattack.

"Somebody is following us..." Jan said...
"Use the cloak generator."

The truck used stolen technology to disappear visually.

"Wha?!" Sola leaned to take a closer look.

The cat's only assumption was this: Whatever it is, it can't be good.

Jan looked at Prairie...he thought of her as a beautiful girl...but it had to be done.

"Move...faster."

The truck went slightly faster...giving off the sound of screechint tires.

Sola followed the sound and ran as fast as she could.

The cat went back to report what he had seen to OmegaCorp, feeling that he wouldn't be able to do much himself.

Sola continued to pursuit on foot.

Prairie's cell phone went off...

Jan took it out and inspected it...then dismantled it,taking out the battery.
"Nice try..."

Sola heard the ringing and followed the truck...she could hear well unlike most hedgehogs.She silently followed the truck with her quiet shoes.

Her sister was on the other end...

"That's weird... Prairie always answers my calls, doesn't she?" Alouette pondered.

(Yes, she was sent along with OmegaCorp's forces.)

The truck reached the checkpoint...

Sola was getting tired...but she managed to board the truck on the back and hid herself as one of the things covered with blankets.

OmegaCorp recently received reports about a truck leaving the city...
They decided on sending a small force out to investigate.

The truck went past the checkpoint and moved towards the barrens.

Sola had a few weapons...her shotgun as well as 2 pistols.
"Kinda stuffy here..." She mumbled to herself and poked her nose out to inhale some air.

Prairie showed no signs of waking up anytime soon...

"We're almost there..." Jan stroked Prairie's hair again... "Almost there..."

A mountain full of holes with green light was at the distance...

The OmegaCorp troop was heading in the direction described by their recent informant...

The truck kept moving...having its cloak engine still sustaining with great stability.

The fighters still blindly followed the path, whether or not it was the right way.

The truck had a few more tricks...a holographic projection would likely make the fighters be lured away.

A third of the troop strayed from the path, fooled by the projection.

Chance marveled at his new fighter,a one seat version of the famed F-14 Tomcat.

Or a plane exactly like Chance's new one.

The truck did it again with another path.
