Emblarian Chronicles EP1: A special mission

Allison went into the breakfast tent, she noticed Catalyn serving food. She slowly approached her. "Need some help...?" She asked shyly.

"No,I'm good." Catalyn replied,giving a slight grin.
"Although..." She looked around. "You could place the dirty dishes into the sink over there." She pointed at the pile of dishes behind her and then the sink across the tent.

Tyson grabbed a dish, sliding it over to Catalyn.

"What would you like to have?" Catalyn asked,using her charms.

"Anything good." Tyson replied, cracking his neck and yawning.

"Alright." Catalyn placed an egg omlette,some bacon and a french croissant onto the plate.

Allison does as she wss told to do. She didn't mind washing dishes.

"Cheers." Tyson mumbled. He turned round, walking towards any nearby bench that wasn't occupied and began to eat.

Catalyn started to expect more people since soldiers started entering.

Allison waited for orders.

Tyson did the same after finishing his meal, luckily avoiding the other troops. He wasn't much of a social character.

Regulus walked inside the food tent, having managed to pull his hair back into a pompadour. He grabbed a plate, and slid it over to Catalyn. "Bacon, eggs, sunny side up, and a couple hot cakes please."

Catalyn had already prepared those kinds of eggs,only placing them in a heater to keep them a little hot.

She gladly placed the requested food items,she included a couple bumps of margarine.
"The maple syrup is over there,enjoy." She pointed at a "Self-service" counter.

Regulus nodded at Catalyn, smiling as he took his plate over to the Self-Service counter, pouring some syrup on his hot cakes, as well as getting a cup of coffee. He went over to a relatively crowded bench, and sat down, beginning to eat, joining in the conversation.

Allison washed plates as they came. She would occasionally look at the people eating.

Tyson just sat on his own at the corner of the table, waiting for the chance to go to the generals tent. He was already getting impatient.

Catalyn started to pack her things as the next shift of "Volunteers" came in.She carried her bag and walked towards the general's tent.

Tyson took a look at his watch, which said 11:57 - it was a minute fast. He stood up, walking out of the tent and over to the general's tent.
'This better be good.' He thought to himself.

Catalyn noticed that another soldier was coming along.
"You're in too?" She asked politely.

"Mhm... no idea why, but it saves sitting on your ass all day doing nothing."

Regulus finished his breakfast, he was a slow eater. He stood up, lighting a cigarette, and walked out of the meal tent towards the general's tent, keeping a casual pace.

Allison was still inside cleaning dishes. As she finished she look at her watch. She was already ten minutes late. The other volunteers arrived as she grabbed her bag and sprinted towards the general's tent.

A woman came out from the general's tent,being his secretary.
"Are you all here to see the general?"

Catalyn nodded.
"Yes."

Regulus walked in the tent, the cigarette now just a butt. "WhaddImiss?" he said.

Allison was panting as she got to the rest.
