Ciel spread her arms out, releasing a slight discharge of energy. It wouldn't be enough to cause damage, but it would at least move everyone around them an inch away.

She was in her Civilian Form...

The checks were blown off the ship, but none of the reporters
"Dam-it!" One of them exclaimed.

"Consider those checks bounced." Ciel said, fixing her hair.

The reporters disperse.

In the hospital,Matthew waits anxiously in the lobby for news of his father.

At the scene of the crime, police investigators...eat coffe flavored,caramel-glazed donuts.
150 yards away, a pair of blue eyes is visible in the shadows.A voice.
"We can't let them find anything!!"
The owner of the eyes speaks.
"don't worry.Hand me the grenade launcher, and i'll take care of them"
a sound like digging through a bag
"Here it is, boss"
The owner of the eyes raises the barrel. The moonlight reflects off of it. An officer notices and draws his weapon.Too late. A Whump-Bump sound is heard. Then, an explosion tears apart the 3 police crusiers on the scene. The gray hand of the shooter is visible for an instant before he escapes.A donut is still clutched in a dead officers hand.melted caramel drips onto the ground, forming a puddle of brown.

"...And this is why I didn't bring Nemi along." Ciel said, noting her adopted daughter's timid nature toward crowds.

OmegaCorp's global monitoring system picked up on the outbreak.
They deployed a small team to the area, being assisted by a Class B Operator.

Nimbly,the shooter of the grenade uses shadows to coneal himself as he slowly moves away.
His assistant is not as lucky.He trips and lands in plain view of the team. The weapons in he bag he is carrying spill out over the asphault.
The shooter curses under his breath.

The OmegaCorp troops opened fire on the shooter. They were authorized to use deadly force.

Knowing that his assistant may be inerrogated,the shooter draws a 9mm pistol and shoots the assistant in the head, then runs towards a black suv.

The assistant was the troop's first target.
The shooter was second.

(Good,now he's doubly sure his assistant is dead!)

The shooter runs,gets to the getaway car, and drives away as fast as he can

The troop's Operator signalled OmegaCorp for cruiser support, hoping the intercept the shooter before he could escape.

(In terms of OmegaCorp technology, patrol cruisers are low-flying ships meant for pursuing and neutralizing suspects attempting to flee in a vehicle.)

As the Suv drove away, it was intecepted by 2 crusiers.
"Luckily,I keep this with me"
The shooter grabs a second Grenade launcher and fires it randomly at the crusiers chasing behind him.

The one cruiser veered off-course... the other exploded on contact, its chassis scraping across the ground.

The destroyed crusier almost rams into the getaway car as it skids on the ground, but the SUV veers away just in time.It crashes into a tree near the road.

The other cruiser re-appeared from the opposite direction, firing at the SUV.

Some of the bullets hit the suspect in the left shoulder
"Damni!" He cursed. He kicked the door open, jumped out, ran to a parked car at a neraby strip mall,steals it,and the chase GOES ON!

The shooter and his allies are massacred by a pulse charge,killing them. Time resorts to when the town was peaceful. (That means everyone respawns in their beds at 5 AM.)
