Alex comforted the girls and looked up at Elisa, "Any ideas?"

"Don't worry,I got lots of cash." Elisa chuckled.
"Sola,drive to the mall."

"You got it!" Sola spun the wheel,making the jeep drift a 180 and heading towards the mall.

Alex tilted his head in thought, "A mall Ellie? Not to original if you ask me,"

"Where to then?" Elisa asked,turning around.

Alex drew a blank, the estate was a good idea, but then he remembered that he told Sis and Annie to stock up before they left so they should still be..., "To the mall Sola!" he shouted.

"You never lose your touch Alex...I knew that." Elisa laughed and told Sola to continue towards the mall.

The house was infested with red tentacles and a central eye as big as an observatory dome.

In the hangar, meanwhile, Zero was polishing the outside of the ship, whistling to himself, nearly oblivious.

Alex smiled, "I try. So what's the plan?"

"To get out of this planet we need a lot of stuff...we're now gonna get some of that stuff." Elisa explained.

"We don't need to worry about the ship,it will last a year...but it's us I'm worried about,we can't last a year without food right?" She continued.

"So it's basically 'abandon planet'?" Alex asked

"Yeah...this planet is lost.." Elisa admitted.
"Worse,we might have a large scale infestation on our hands...the entire galaxy might be infected if we don't do anything fast!"

Messilita and Lucia hugged Alex,being scared.
"We're all gonna be infected!! I don't wanna be infected!!"

Alex messed up Luica's hair, "Not on my watch, you both are in good hands and... Oh, hold on," His phone rang, interrupting his short speech.

Elisa turned to Alex,just to check.

"Yes? What's up Sis? Really? You don't say. No, stay there, we're on our way," Alex hung up and leaned into the front seat, tuning the radio, "Sis said they were broadcasting it all over the news, this I've got to hear,"

"Oh,go ahead." Sola didn't mind.

Alex twiddled the dial until he hit a news broadcast, "Attention, strange activity revolving around a dangerous creature. The creature has been reported in the region. has been described as infectious, adapting, and, once again, highly dangerous. If you encounter this creature, do not attempt to communicate, engage, or capture. It is advised that if this creature is encountered, that one should seek a secure shelter immediately," The broadcast beeped loudly and started repeating.

"At least the whole country knows...but how far does this broadcast actually span?" Elisa asked Alex,casually speaking.

Alex sat back in is seat, "They're using the EBS, Emergency Broadcast System, so anyone who's next to anything media related should get that,"

"Oh cool." Lucia said.

Solarina went downtown...looking for the mall.
"I know it's somewhere around here."

Alex looked out the window, "Maybe we should follow the signs that say 'Mall, this way',"

"Alright." Sola turned when she saw the sign towards the Mall's carpark.

"So...what are we gonna buy again?" Messilita scratched her head.

Alex scratched his chin, "I'm guessing some food, water, other essential supplies that keep us happy and healthy,"

"ooh,can I get a new laptop?" Lucia asked.

"Or that game console I always wanted!" Messilita screamed for joy.

Elisa simply facepalmed.

Alex sighed as they parked, he jumped out and looked at the door, "Uh, do they usually barricade the entrance at this hour?"

"No,why?" Elisa said as she walked beside Alex.
