"This is bad...this is really really bad!" Elisa started to panic from the other side of the phone.

"What's wrong mom?" Messilita jumped out from Sola's jeep and ran to her. "We were just gonna go back home and pack all our clothes."

"Something wrong Elisa?" Sola placed her hand on the side of the jeep's door,leaning a bit.

"Listen,I'll be right there Alex..don't let the Infection touch ANYMORE of my petunias!"

"Uh-huh, I'll make sure of it. Before you go, you don't happen to have a gun lying around that I could borrow? I get the feeling I'm gonna need it soon," Alex asked looking at the infection's progress again.

"I left my 50.caliber under my pillow..don't waste the bullets..just shoot where you feel will give optimum results." Elisa hung up and bolted for Sola's jeep.

"Quick! We gotta get home!"

The Infection started creeping towards a carrot,going to grab its roots and convert it to energy to move about.

Alex pocketed the phone and went to check Elisa's pillow, where he found the 50. caliber and two clips, he pocketed the clips and checked the gun. Elisa always kept her firearms in good condition, and Alex thanked her for it as he checked out the bedroom window.

The view only offered a nice clear view of the sun and the sea across the cliffside..A tree with apples was beside the place where Elisa used to sit.

The pod was somewhere else.

Alex ran back down into the dining room, he figured keeping tabs on the infection would be the best thing to do right now.

The Infection has quickly overtaken the backyard...it was about to enter the house already...from the back door.

Alex looked over at the door and aimed the gun, but then a thought came to his head, "Wait a second, if I'm going to be stopping plants," He holstered the gun and grabbed his staff among the pile of his stuff in a dining room chair.

The Infection banged against the door.

Alex stood at the ready. He had a plan, he just hoped it would work.

The infected burst through the door..making noisy clicking sounds.

Alex hacked at the infection with his staff's blade.

Some bits of the infection was cut off,the infection stayed on the blade and started to grow on it,eating it.

Metals were not safe either.

(In Beyond the Universe 2,where Elisa and friends tried to stop the infection,metal ships were not safe from the infection as it can also infect metal objects...having plastic ships is quite silly though.)

"Well, that could have better results," Alex moaned to himself as he grabbed the wooden grip and gave the blade an electric shock to fry the infection off.

The infection retracted a little,being denatured. Its colour turned grey gradually. It was out for now.

"Interesting," Alex took note of this reaction as he packed the staff away and sent a eletric bolt into the Infection.

The infection sprang to life,being energised.

It was now immune to Electric attacks.

Alex's eye widened, "Bugger. It adapts?" He asked himself before treating the infection to a dose of freeze and crush.

The infected cells vibrated ferociously,creating huge amounts of heat.It started to crawl towards Alex's feet.

The infection was starting to put Alex on edge, he decided that the beet thing woild be to put something between him and it as he put a force wall betwe
en him and the infection before trying to push the wall, with the infection, out the back door.

The infection slowly followed Alex,consuming most of the living materials as well as metal objects.

Alex backed up into the living room, closing the door and proceeding to barricade the door with the couch.

"Come on!" Elisa yelled at Alex.

"Get in here!" Sola was driving her jeep,still a little vacant.

"But mom,what about my stuff?!" Messilita shook Elisa.

"Rrgh,we can get new ones when we go to the mall okay?...You could get killed going inside!"
She replied.

The window was open,its curtains waving about.

Alex hopped out the window and clambered into the jeep, sitting next to Messilita and Lucia again.

Soon the infection took over the house in seconds..Eating everything in its path.

"Our house.." Messilita cried on Alex's shoulder. Lucia too.
