| "What's wrong?" Scizo asked. As Lenny turned round, he only just noticed the state of the vehicle - the front bumper was only loosely hanging on, the bonnet had a couple of dents on and looked at is someone had repeatedly slammed their fists on it, and one of the doors was also close to coming off. |

| "It's just...I don't really feel comfortable that my mom is really worried right now..." Messilita said.
"I feel as if...she's in danger."

| "Why think negative?" Scizo asked. She was one that always tried to think positively, no matter what. "She could be perfectly fine, having a cup of coffee right now." |

| "Heh,you're right...she's probably just patiently waiting for me to arrive." Messilita smiled, hopes lifted up. She looked above...to the stars. === Elisa fired the rubber bullet towards her attacker's stomach. | |

| "Well, let's get some sleep - big day tomorrow." Scizo said, closing her eyes as she sat herself against the tree trunk. "Goodnight..." She mumbled, crossing her arms. "..." Lenny didn't say a word. He stayed on the lookout, hoping that chaos wasn't going to bring it's fist down on the city. It seemed likely...
===
The rubber bullet only bounced off of some metal plating the man was wearing under his vest. He chuckled, and reached to grab Elisa by the throat. |

| Messilita smiled back, tucking herself in to get comfortable. She closed her eyes and proceeded to sleep. === Elisa couldn't do anything, she was helpless at this point. She wished that someone would save her although the chances are very slim. | |

| The man pulled her closer, his smile growing as he showed some rather jagged teeth. He pointed the knife at her mouth, ready for the kill. "This'll be the last time you'll see another living soul..." He growled. |

| An audible click was heard from behind Elisa's assailant, "Not on my watch," Tony replied, the moonlight shining off his revovler that was aimed at the back of the stranger's head, and a smug grin showing from under the shadow of his hat, "Now put her down gently, or you'll find a couple of .357 sized holes in your skull." | |

| The man's face turned to shock for a moment, but it quickly changed into an enraged frown. He snarled at Elisa, pushing her away from him as he darted off around the corner and out of sight. |

| Tony looked over at Elisa, then to the direction in which the man ran off to, "Chickens, they'll pounce on a old lady, but run like the dickens as soon as you put a gun to their head," he muttered under his breath, kneeling beside Elisa. "You alright Elisa?" | |

| At that time, a police car was cruising along the nearby road. It came to a halt near both Elisa and Tony, the lights still flashing as a police officer got out of the passenger seat side of the vehicle. He walked round and over to the two, his pistol holstered and a pencil and notepad in his right hand. "Excuse me." He spoke clearly, actually sounding a little nervous at the same time. At that time, he noticed Elisa was unconscious. "What happened to her?" He asked, shocked. |

| Tony looked up at the officer, as much as he makes a living off of making their job harder, Tony still respected the law outside of his work, no matter how meddlesome they were, "My friend was out looking for her daughter and got mugged, I rolled by looking for her and stopped him from slitting her throat. Coward made a run for it though," he explained, occasionally shifting his gaze from the officer, to Elisa, then down the alleyway. | |

| "Did you see what he looked like?" The police officer asked, hoping to be able to pin whoever it was that was murdering all these people. |

| "Unfortunately, I didn't catch his face before he bolted, but my friend here might have seen something, as soon as we get her patched up that is," Tony replied, standing Elisa up, "Hello? What's this?" He asked, looking at the knife in Elisa's shoulder. | |

| The officer took out his walkie talkie, pressing the button on the side. "This is officer Ryan. Requesting an ambulance immediately. Over." He spoke, easing his finger off the button. "10-4." A female replied. "There'll be an ambulance here to pick her up within the next minute." |

| Tony snapped a picture of the knife with his phone while Ryan was busy, thinking it best not to remove it in case it hit a vain, "Thank you, I'm sure she's thankful as well," Tony said, wiping some blood from Elisa's vest, "While we're waiting, I heard someone started a bonfire under the commissioner's collar, is it alright if I ask for details?" | |

| "Well... there haven't been any orders to keep it quiet." The officer replied, putting away his notepad and pencil. |

| "Go on, we're not going anywhere," Tony pressed, he enjoyed a good yarn, especially from the local law enforcement.

"Almost... Got it!" Julie exclaimed, finally having unlocked Elisa's front door.

| "The commissioner said she'd seen a certain someone who she wanted in jail, but apparently this guy keeps running away from him." The officer started, trying his best to remember what it was Darline told him during the meeting. "She... I think she said he was a highly dangerous person, and because of this she wanted the city to be locked down so that he couldn't escape. Whether he's the killer or not, I have no idea. But she seems a little bit too fixated on this guy." |

| Tony smiled, "I've seen her around town one or twice before, she's got a beauty of a car, glad to hear she has the determination to match. Just what this city needs in times like this," Tony said, and while what he said is true, what he was really smiling about is the fact that Darline sounds like a formidable challenge, Tony made a note to get acquainted with her in the future. | |

| "Hey, Ryan!" The other police officer in the car called out to him through the open window. "We've got a vehicle on the outskirts of town we need to track down, come on!" He shouted, turning the engine of the car back on. "Right..." He looked back round to Elisa and Tony. "The medics will take good care of her. Sorry I can't do anything else." He said, walking back towards the car and getting in before the police interceptor drove off. |
