An outcast's prayer

Elisa turned around. She only had a pistol at the moment.She placed her hand on the holster and slowly continued on.

A knife sliced into the ground between Eli's feet.

(Unable to visualise,please explain in detail.)

(Basically the blade of the knife just sticks into the ground like it would into a wall, just underneath Eli.)

"Whoa!" Elisa jumped in fright. She didn't anticipate such an event.

There was only silence... not even the slightest sound of any breathing or shuffling. Not even the wind.

*Too quiet.* Elisa thought in mind,she wanted to turn around and flee.

There was only a faint sound that came from the right.

Elisa slowly pulled out her pistol.

Tony sighed, "She went to go find Red, and the city will probably be on full lock down by the end of the night," he started for his car, "I'm going to see if I can't find either of them, you stay here," he told Julie, who started for the passenger door, "I can explain myself, but if you come along it might seem a little suspicious." Tony explained as Julie pouted, "Well, what am I supposed to do while you're gone?" she asked, Tony smiled as he started the engine, "You're a clever girl, you'll find something to do," he said as he drove towards town. Julie sighed, then looked towards Elisa's front door again.

(lolbump.)

"..." Only the silence.

Tony coasted through the near-bare city streets, searching for either Elisa or Messilita.

Julie took her lockpicking knife from her pocket and started to unlock Elisa door.

An electric shock was given to Julie.

Elisa took this time to panic and run.

This time, a knife was thrown at Elisa's shoulder, already with the sound of running footsteps following.

"Dah!" Elisa suffered a wound to the shoulder,stopping and trying to take it out.

Two seconds after, someone thrusted their shoulder as hard as they could towards Eli's back to knock her over or even knock her out.

Elisa's vest served as a shield against attacks at the back,only knocking her down.

"And just what are you doing out here?" The person behind Elisa grunted, grabbing her head and lifting it up but keeping her body flat. The person's breathing became sharper and quieter as his knife came into view pointing directly towards her mouth.
"Any screaming and this goes right through the back of your mouth." He whispered, chuckling.

Elisa was frightened,looking at the person.
"I..I...." She was resisting not to scream.

The person's face was hidden by the shadow, but the frown on his mouth was clear enough. It soon turned into a smile, licking his teeth as if he was going to ready a bite.
"Wanna know a secret?" He murmured.

Julie jumped back, dropping her knife, "Is she really that paranoid?"

Elisa shuddered in fear.
"Wha-what?"

The man slowly pushed the knife further into her mouth until it was almost touching the back of her throat, not cutting her tongue or any part of her mouth.
"They say innocent people don't deserve to die," He started, his grip on the knife firm.
"... Why did she have to die..." He snarled, leaning forward a bit as his face came into view - he had black fur, his skin tanned and colourless white eyes that were staring at Elisa. He wasn't going to refrain from killing her no matter what. He smirked.
"So here's my secret... since you're so innocent." He growled.
"When your dead, I'll be burning up that cathedral when everyone's inside it... there'll be a day for prayers in there, and when they're all praying to their God..." He chuckled, his eyes starting to water only a little bit.
"They'll soon see that he's already abandoned them..."

Elisa's eyes widened,she felt a lot of fear flush out of her once she knew that he was going to kill people.

She tried to secretly aim her gun at his stomach,a rubber bullet only giving her a slight chance of escape.
