Messilita saw Synthia and tried regrouping with her.
"Over here!" She shouted.

Sola saw the incoming tank and its uber weaponary,she stomped on the accelerator as hard as she can and turned a full 180,drifting too. She sped past many soldiers as well as Sigma.

(Hi Sigma,didn't see you here.)

Synthia heard Messilita's call as it snapped some sense into her. She ran over as fast as she could.

Sigma went to cover the regroup, prepared to defend them.

The tank started to roll closer and closer,firing its secondary cannons at a high arc.

They were artillery shells.

"Look out!" Messilita shouted to everyone as a shell was about to land near them.

"Huh?" Synthia looked up to see the artillery shell.
"OH CRAP!" She sprinted away from the shell as fast as she could, jumping once she was at a distance.

The shell exploded in a large radius,Messilita caught in it. The next moment,she was lying on the floor.

Troopers from one direction started to swarm around the area,blocking a critical route towards the ship was basicly a bad idea for a small squad.

2 tanks came out from the forest as well,bulldozing over the trees.

Sigma dashed over to Messilita, hoping she was still alive...

Messilita was alive,only being unconscious.

Synthia also ran over, sliding on her knees as she stopped by Messilita's side.
"Is she alive?" She asked.

"She's got a pulse; she's just knocked out." Sigma said, picking her up.

The Devastator Tank continued to destroy the land with its burning treads,setting fire over the land. It fired another pair of shells but completely missing them due to a sudden incline,the shells flew over Sigma and exploded inside a mountain,taking a quarter of it down with a mighty collapse.

"Get her out of here, quick!" Synthia shouted over the noise, but she could barely hear herself.

Sigma could pick up her voice... but he already knew that now would be a good time to get Messilita out of the area.

The orbital cannon started to move again,it was obvious that it was aiming at the huge ship itself.

Messilita lightly moaned.

Synthia had no idea what to do now. Running seemed pointless, yet standing around like a dead carcass wasn't going to save her life either.
"What do we do?!"

"Anything but nothing." Sigma replied, also at a lack of ideas.

The devastator's front started to open up,starting to stop as well. The soldiers stood in neat rows beside the tank itself.

"...Yeah, I'd say run and shoot." Sigma said.

Synthia already began sprinting, but not at a very fast pace due to how worn out she was. Her MG was too heavy to be able to run and gun with, so she could only hope that she wouldn't get shot.

The devastator activated a shield device.The troopers lined up and advanced slowly.

In a nearby protected countryside town,Messilita and the others were taking a well deserved rest. Lucia was badly injured and was to be treated where they were.

However,in the dark clouded area...thundering tanks were approaching from 3 directions as the assault continues. The clouds and troopers unified to create an illusion of terror and intimidation.

Messilita thought for a few seconds,should she stay and help defend until the evacuation is complete? or simply abandon this doomed town anyway. She looked at her squad-mates,Brego,Synthia,Lucia and the others. Will she be there to help them all in their time of need? She has to cast all selfish intentions behind.

"You were lucky that guy didn't split your skull in two." Brego chortled at Synthia, who didn't take it so kindly.
"It's not my fault you were being such a coward!" She snapped back.

Messilita snapped from her thinking,she turned towards the two.
"Okay,listen up." She snapped her fingers to get their attention.
