Abuse of power

"Just keep running!" George shouted, knowing the police wouldn't be in a state to discuss things for now. Koln was the first to enter the fog. It prevented him from seeing the rest of the forest, turning round he could still barely see George and Cyan.
"We need to stay close, we should lose dem in here!" Koln said to the two.

Cyan caught up, panting
"R-right..."

The sound of leaves crunching drew near.
"Let's keep going and keep quiet..." George said. He tried catching his breath, but was pressed to go on by a bullet piercing the nearby tree trunk. He cursed under his breath, running on with Koln.
"Come on, Cyan!" They both encouraged him, their place slowed down from so much running.

Cyan continued running, panting heavily, trying his best to keep up.

The police couldn't be seen, but George continued running just to be sure. Koln started to slow down, also worn out from most of the running.
"Ge... George..." Koln tried to keep his voice at a minimum, almost losing sight of George.

Cyan was coughing
"S-slow down..."

Koln offered Cyan some help.
"I can carry you... as long as I don't tire out." He told him, crouching down a little and looking around for the police. George was still only barely in sight.

Cyan nodded.
"Thanks... have we lost them...?"

Koln didn't reply because he was getting tired. Where he last saw George run off to was the only place he could think of running to. As he continued running, there was still no sight of George... maybe he had been captured?

Cyan's breathing started slowing down
"I think it's safe, we can walk now..."

Koln was worried about George. His pace quickened, desperate to locate him.
"GEORGE!" He called out, ignoring the thought of the police possibly being close.

Cyan looked around, also noticing the lack of George.
"Oh crap..." he thought, as he followed Koln.

"GEORGE!" He yelled again, praying for a reply. There was still only the silence, so he pursued on, growing very anxious and nervous.

"G-George... this isn't funny..." Cyan said, hoping George was just fooling around or something.

Koln could see something by one of the trees in the distance of the fog. It looked a little like the bottom of a tree log was poking out from what he could tell from the silhouette. Desperate to find out if it was George, he ran over to it as fast as he could.

"Koln! wait!" Cyan said, a bit worried that it might not be George.

Koln pressed on. To his surprise, it wasn't a log... there was a cartoonised pony, with similar hair and eye colour, to George.
"This... is George?" Koln was confused.

Cyan stared at it, and started to laugh.
"hehehe! you're a pony!"

Koln could have only guessed that it was the drink... what else? He drove his head under the now unconscious pony, lifting him up onto his back.
"Let's keep going!" Koln whispered, only just remembering about the police. He continued on.

Cyan nodded, still amused by George's new appearance.

Koln almost tripped over another log, but noticed that the fog was getting less and less dense. It seemed as if they were just coming out of the other end... hopefully.

"Where do you think we are...?" Cyan asked, not having explored this far into teh woods before.

"I don't know," Koln said, but right now all he could hope for was a safe place to hide. The fog got clearer and clearer, along with there being almost no sight or sound of any more police. "But I tink we lost them." He said, relieved.

Cyan sighed, smiling.

He walked on, noticing now that the fog was gone. There were some rather rocky hills in the distance that would have provided the perfect hiding place, although what worried Koln was what might have been lurking around the hills.
"Dis should be a nice spot." He admired the surroundings.
