The Dimensional Cafe

A new cafe is in to- Er.... multiple dimensions. How it can do this, I don't know. If you're going to ask, I'm the manager, my name is Chester McGill. You can call me whatever you want, but please, refrain from using 'cuss' words. If you do, you'll be teleported out of the cafe, to an unknown location. For all I know, you might start a war with ancient Egyptians, how, I'll not know. And before you ask, I'm talking in your minds. This is all. I'll look forward to seeing you all.

Day 1: We're now open for business, but we don't have employees!

Chester McGill: *wearing a cloak and a mask* With this clothing, no one will know what I look like! Now.. To put up a 'Help Wanted' sign... *does so* Now to wait.

[Later..]


Chester McGill: .....Waiting...

Two people were headed towards Chester.

Pokedragon: Syral, you are now getting a job. I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE A DEMON. Now go get hired. :3

Syral: *walks towards Chester while Pokedragon leaves*

Chester: Ok, why should I hire you? And don't say you're a demon, your 'friend' already said that.

Syral: *sigh* Well, I am extremely quick, besides, I have wings to deliver faster than if by some car.

Chester: You're hired! Even though I'm not planning on having to deliver.

Syral thanked Chester and then looked around, mseeing if anyone OTHER than him was looking for a job.

[That RP style IS OK, right? o3o]

Neyix walked in with her maid dress. She waited for her turn and asked Chester if she could work there.

Chester: Why should I hire you? ..Not saying that in a bad way.

"Well... I can use magic to zip around the cafe quickly... Not to mention I can deliver pretty well..." Neyix smiled.

Chester: Hm....Ok, you're hired.

Pale, tired green eyes scanned over the cafe with sheer boredom and uninterest. Professor Stein held no sheer curiosity, humor, or even interest for such a cutesy little thing as a cafe. But still... it would have coffee. That would be a plus. After all, Death Bucks never did make coffee. At least... that suited the madman's taste, per say.

His pale cold hand found it's self onto the large metal bolt that was lodged into his skull, cranking it once, a TICK noise heard as the unimaginable thing that penetrated his head and brain clicked in place. "Maybe I'll pay a visit..." Stein murmured, his tone of voice dripping in sheer tiredness. The professor, truthfully, had not gotten a lot of sleep. Those hallucinations and late night dissections - or observational research as he would ever so sickingly sweetly call them, tired him greatly. The light had reflected themselves off the man's glasses, shielding his eyes as he turned to walk in a different direction.

"Why you....you stole what I just said! Practically." Syral said, and sighed with a T.T face.

Chester: *sees Stein* Hello there! You look like you need coffee. Come over to this machine and put this helmet on.

Halt. Yield. Frozen. This was how the doctor's body felt as he heard the man speak. Sluggishly, Stein glanced over his shoulder. Ah, so he was offering coffee? Well, it wouldn't hurt to try. Surely enough, he turned around, walking into the cafe. His eyes scanned over his surroundings.

It was highly expected of a new business. Not quite fancy. It needed work. Though he could cut slack, they did just open after all. Snapping out of his over analyzation, his mind turned the gears, remember what the cafe owner had said, "Ah... yes" the stitched man replied, his voice still highly monotone. His pale green eyes fell upon the helmet and machine. His mind clicked again. The device looked interesting. His once tired eyes were soon enough coaxed with curiosity. Though not a human, he wanted to take this machine apart it's self. But he wouldn't.

Gripping the helmet, he lifted it up, placing it firmly on his head. He winced, feeling like an imbecile for a few moments. "I presume this will read my mind or something?" His guess was bland, and almost like a hypothesis rather.

Chester: Why, yes, yes it does.

The helmet: *does its thing*

The machine: *makes the perfect coffee for Stein*

A small smile pulled upon the man of science's lips. Though, it could hardly be called a "smile". His corners of his lips were pulled up by not even an inch. But it was there. His fingers snaked around the handle of the coffee mug, gripping it tightly, and slowly bringing it towards his face. With his freehand that had been casually placed in his lab coat pocket mere minutes earlier, he wafted the smell, like he would do with the scent of chemical substances.

Dark. The way he liked his coffee. The sugar and milk had made it so teeth-achingly sweet for him that he was disgruntled by it. Slowly, Stein brought the tip of mug to his lips, the dark brown liquid sliding from the mug, down his throat. As if shocked, his eyes widened, taking the cup away from his lips, swallowing.

"This coffee..." Stein stuttered, trying to think of the right words. His brain clicked again. "Is fantastic~." such a compliment seemed foreign when it came from him. Well, he didn't drink coffee a lot, but that really wasn't the point.

[Time for my own lengthy post.]

Syral had entered into the Dimensional Cafe. He admitted that it looked better than what he imagined, which was a run down and small shack. He also kept an eye on how the mysterious Stitched man had gotten his coffee...however, that Stitched Man reminded Syral of someone from several months earlier, when Syral was about to be dissected. But Syral brushed the thought away and thoroughly examined the remainder of the Cafe.

Chester: That will be Ah.... (Damn! I haven't thought of what to do about currency!)

Chester: (Guess I'll use the U.S. dollar) That'll be 1 dollar.

The professor nodded, shoving his free hand into his lab coat pocket. It rummaged around the small space of clothe. Let's see.. his pack of cigarettes, a scalpel, a box of matches, and finally, a his wallet. He fished it from his pocket, placing the rather steamingly warm cup of coffee onto the machine, making sure it would not fall or spill. Opening the black, leather wallet, he pulled out a dollar, obviously fresh by it's scent of factory processing, and handed it to the cafe owner.

He shoved the wallet back into his lab coat pocket, and gripped his mug again, his eyes scanning his surroundings once more. But that's what caught the man of science's attention. His stared Syral for a good time. He.. was the one who escaped dissection. Lips twitched many times, before growing into an insane, grin, the darkness and insanity on the man's features that slowly came told the chapters of what he wished to do. Dissect.

No. He wouldn't allow himself to fall into insanity and sadism so easily. At least not now. As an act of suppression, he clasped his free hand over his mouth. Hence such actions, Stein's body shook with insane giggles of sorts, such unholy noises of laughter escaping from his mouth, his eyes trembling and dilating.

Chester: ...Well, I wonder why he's laughing..

"Not sure..." Neyix replied, wiping a table near Chester.

Chester: Waiters/Deliverers..check...Cook...no one yet..

Syral nervously awaited his first assignment just to get away from this maniac.
