"..." T quickly pointed his revolver at the one holding the shotgun at him, firing a shot right between his eyes. He quickly fired another shot at the officer he was originally aiming at, then quickly darted behind the nearby wall for cover.

"...Prairie, try to see what's happening in there." Alouette said.

Prairie nodded, a cold breath leaving her body as it falls limp, her spirit going off to investigate.

(...I'm just pulling that out of my ass.)

The shotgunner was killed instantly, flung backwards onto the ground.

The other was hit in the shoulder, yelping in pain. They both retreated behind the cruiser, firing blindly. Civilians began to run.

There were still 3 shots in the chamber - Since the bullets were large, there wasn't enough capacity for 6. He came out from round the corner, firing another shot at the corner of the wall to chip away part of it, going back behind cover.

The two kept firing at the wall, chipping more and more. Aero was hiding behind another car, whimpering...He would make a good target for Prairie.

Claudia seemed worried about her mother, but that was before Prairie sprang back to life again.

"There were three cops in there... one threatened them with a shotgun and was shot dead." Prairie explained. "Something seemed off about them... why would they use deadly force on a radio DJ, of all things?"

T realised his cover was being blown away slowly but surely. He waited for a pause between the shots and, when there was one, popped back round from his cover to fire a shot at whichever officer appeared first.

The one he injured was hit in the chest...he fell over groaning, then, after a couple of seconds...went silent.

"...Prairie. Stay behind me." Alouette said. She wasn't in uniform, but she was able to summon StormRend at will.

Prairie nodded, staying behind Alouette, keeping Claudia with her.

T tried getting a better angle on the last policeman... he sprinted for the reception desk, diving over the top once he was there and making sure to lay very low.

The last cop began running towards T, firing with horrible aim.

Alouette jumped toward the cop, performing a freezing slash from the air. "Hizangeki!"

He froze mid-step, and fell fowards like a statue.

The fight was over, and Aero peeked out from the car.

T looked at the falling cop, wondering whether he just imagined it or not. He turned his head to the entrance to see Alouette stood there. He didn't say anything, just stood himself up and checked his bullets.

Aero ran towards T. "See?! I told you! They're corrupt!"

Alouette sheathed StormRend as Prairie and Claudia ran up beside her. "What happened in here? Was anyone else hurt?"

"I'm not sure." T turned to Aero. "You alright?"

Aero shakily nodded. "See? They aren't real police."

The same hedgehog that T passed ran up, armed with a Walther P99. "What the hell is going on?!" Mach yelled.

Aero pointed to the cops. "Freaking gangsters in uniforms, that's what!"

"What's happening outside?" T was highly concerned about how the gangs and the citizens would all act.

Aero looked outside the window. "Nothin' much...they just ran away." He turned around. "So, you alright, mate? No wounds, nothin' like that?..." He asked.

"We're fine here." T confirmed, breathing a sigh of relief afterwards. He expected there to be some pretty bad riots.

Most of the civilans thought the cops were real...and that the group were the criminals.

Mach groaned. "Uh, guys? We got a problem!"

Several protesters began to set up in front.

T went to go take a look...
"Oh no... what should we do?" Right now he couldn't really think of anything; he was getting worried now.

Mach shrugged. "Wait it out?"

Aero shook his head. "Impossible"

"We'll head out the back door so that they don't see us. They'll think we're policemen trying to blend in." T suggested. Regardless of whether the other two followed, he ran through a couple of rooms to find the exit at the back, getting out and hoping that they weren't seen.
