After the war for the freedom of Mobius had been won by its inhabitants, everyone had assumed that the planet would be untouched by any evil for centuries. As those centuries passed, the eve of a dark uprising had started to reveal itself to the mortal world.

The first inhabitant: Yorshok the anaconda, had fallen to what everyone believed to be a dangerous hallucinatory illness unknown to the Mobians, as deformations took place within his body and his soul. After a week had passed upon catching this so-called ‘illness’, he was submitted to a mental institution and put in a high security cell. He was analysed by scientists and psychologists that gathered from around the world, but none of them could figure out what was going on inside Yorshok’s head, let alone figure out how he caught the illness. As the years passed, he started to claw unidentifiable markings into the padded cell walls (the doctors didn’t know how Yorshok was able to rip out of the straight jacket), murmuring one single chant:

“Uulroghath mali esthii, uulroghath mali wueliato, uulroghath kaleeoto fotiadeh.”

There wasn’t a single person in the world who knew what the chant meant or where it originated from. Yet they didn’t know what was being released from its dormant sleep…

Plagues began to engulf the globe in the coming threat. Reports of massacres, mass starvations, insect swarms and viruses flooded the world with fear, but no matter who ran, they were unable to evade from the plagues. No army could fight back, no government had the strength to stand up to it, all they could do was anger the plagues. After a mere week f after the plagues were reported, the entire planet had been presumed void of life. For the remaining survivors, it was nearly impossible to survive, let alone know how all of this had happened. It was the worst fate anyone could have ever wished upon the world, but someone had done it… and whoever it was, they wanted the entire world to burn.

As the world continues to burn, there are only few left to try and dispel the looming evil, and restore Mobius to its greatness. Will Mobius return to its former glory, or will the cloud of darkness loom over the planet for eternity?

(We know our characters on here well enough, so just state who you're putting in the RP.)

(Feh... I've got so many characters nowadays, I'm... not quite sure who to put. Give me some time.)

(Huh... guess I'll be using Sigma, Ferham, Eryka, and Cheryl. Maybe some others, not sure yet.)

From the view of the moon, Mobius looked dead. The seas were shallower, the water turned to a bland grey colour, and the skies were a mix of maroon and beige, although the near-black clouds blotted out most of the skies. However, a dark presence started to pass over the moon as the shadow of a thick, long tendril stretched to the other side of the moon. It was headed directly for Mobius.

(I'll continue this later, just an introductory part.)

In the midst of a dead, ravaged city, a scarlet cat was found looking through the wreck of a bus. She took apart each and every electronic that could be found in it, from the radio she had found on the floor to the tail-lights that were beyond repair. All she was looking for was wires, but she always had the urge to find some of the more unique trinkets... if she could find the effort.

Eryka seemed to be roaming the streets... alone, at that.

She hopped out of the roof of the bus, looking about for any other vehicles that could be sabotaged. As she was about to take a step onto a collapsed wall, a thud in the far off distance set off a faint tremor. A strong wind quickly brushed through the city, pushing a few bits of debris and papers backward. She looked up to the sky, only just seeing a couple of dispersed clouds over the roof of a building.
"Oh, great..." She murmured to herself, dropping onto the floor as she walked over.

Eryka seemed to be examining her surroundings... sure, she kept a gun drawn the whole time, but still.

All there was for now was silence. But there was something disturbing the silence... she couldn't figure out what. She stood still, twitching her ears in different directions to figure out where the sound was coming from. It wasn't from the north.

Eryka was simply searching for... something of use... she wasn't quite aware of what was in the midst.

Synthia could hear a consistent echo... she very cautiously began to head toward the source of the sound.

Eryka... really didn't notice anything at the moment.

As Synthia got closer to the sound, she decided to stick to the walls, crouching down low whilst hiding behind a row of ruined cars. She could see someone else who, in her view, looked quite oblivious to the dangers. Maybe it was one of them? She wasn't going to risk letting one of them live, so, carefully in order to not make any sudden noises, she readied her LMG (which was effectively a longer and larger assault rifle with a drum magazine), slowly unfolding the bi-pod as she placed it gently on the ground between the gap of two cars, waiting for the person to walk into the iron sights.

The fact is, Eryka was so busy scavenging, she wasn't paying attention... let's just put it at that.

Synthia waited, calculating when she'd open fire. Any second now...

Eventually, Eryka figured out things weren't quite right... she looked around, trying to figure out if there was, in fact, a threat nearby...

She only just got in sight.
"DIE, ALIEN!" She yelled, unleashing a barrage of lead at Eryka without fully noticing her.

Eryka tried to take cover, taking at least one bullet in the shoulder...

Synthia stopped, knowing that she'd waste ammo trying to shoot through her chosen cover. She stood up, keeping her weapon at the ready as she advanced forward.
"Come out and show yourself so I can get this over with!" She shouted, her ears pointing forward to increase her awareness.

Eryka stayed silent, gripping the wound as she hid behind a wrecked car...

"I can hear you breathing..." Synthia wasn't sure if intimidation would work against whatever it was, but was all she could think of. She was just about to appear round the side, ready to finish off the thing that was hiding.

Ivy was alerted by the sudden gunshots a while ago,she ran down a short distance to hide behind a half-wall. She took out her black desert eagle and loaded a clip into it.

Eryka winced in pain, about to pull out her SMG, apparently assuming Synthia as a threat...
