Jandroy's planned updates...

Okay,so I will be making a few changes in the Battle Arena rules (Character VS Character threads).Threads like 'Hunting a hunter' and 'The Airborne Frontier' will be untouched by these rules.

Firstly,I have plans to CONFISCATE personal weapons for the time being...meaning you will not be able to use self-created weapons..(Example: Messilita's Assault rifle,she will use either the guns from the 'points' shops or just fight in hand to hand)

Secondly,there will be an award for each victory in the battle arena.If Neyix wins a battle against Messilita in a fight and wins the match and thread,she gets around 800 points (Or the agreed amount set by Dr.Frankie) (Jandroy's standard is 800 points per victory...unless you want me to grade the amount by length to avoid cheating..meaning you just let the person win over and over again!)

Thirdly,I know some people have fair,creative minds that make good weapons...but there are bound to be some crazy underpriced nuclear weapon if one of you manages to actually gets drunk.I will not allow any extremely UBER weapons at the cost of 1 point.Not only will the gun be deleted,the shop will be forced to close down as well (And I will take all ur treasure! Muahahaha)

Finally,Stein will have to read this and give me the green thumb.He has the authorisation to change and alter these rules anytime.

(Personally,think of it as a saftey barrier of Kardinal not using his deadly guns.)

So a guy pays the amount to buy a certain item...do these points go to the seller?

WRONG!!!

They are to be discarded and not to be seen ever again so earn your points if you need them desperately.

I think characters should go through a 'weapon checkpoint' - they state what capabilities their weapon(s) has/have, and if is considered too powerful it is to be removed.

I was also thinking that if both characters have equally powerful weapons, then neither would need to have their weapon(s) confiscated. Same for someone who is underpowered compared to the character they are fighting if that ever turns out to be the case.

Alright, I agree with these rules. But what do the characters get? Rubber mallets like in Kingdom Hearts?

Oh yeah, the part about the person who sold the weapon not getting any points...

I want people to gain points through Role-Playing and fighting in the battle arena...not selling guns to others!!

What would you like this forum to be? A virtual gun selling forum? People would make just make and make guns than role-play...

It doesn't always have to be guns... Plus it makes it seem like your work is for nothing when you just "sell" it and don't get anything back... :l
